Richmond, VA / January 2, 2009 - Don Zeman, a renowed home improvement expert and host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show, "Homefront with Don Zeman", died unexpectedly on December 31, 2008 in Mississippi while vacationing with his wife, Nancy Zeman. "Don was a dear friend and a strong champion of Gutter Genius," offered Tim Staub, founder and CEO of Gutter Genius. "We're saddened, shocked and deeply sorrowful and we will miss Don's laughter, wisdom and guidance very, very much," Staub adds, "and we offer Nancy and Don's son and extended family our deepest condolences."

Known as "America's Home Improvement Expert," Don Zeman was a nationally recognized home improvement and home maintenance expert who was a frequent guest on television news programs across North America. His show was broadcast to more than 3.2 million listeners on more than 300 syndicated radio stations. Don pioneered the use of the 90 second TV news stories, and his radio show, hints, and television stories are carried on television and radio affiliates in the U.S., Canada, and Alaska.

Starting on January 17, "Homefront" will continue to broadcast each Saturday morning with Danny Lipford, a colleague of Don's and a fellow home improvement media expert. Danny Lipford has been host of The Weather Channel's home improvement program for more than 10 years, as well as The Early Show on CBS.
